Dear Dumdodoor, as a basic tester (Plus the one who tests your game.), here are the reports and feedback I send you. I haven't finished yet, but I plan to continue testing the game and update the report since i finally done to play with the demo. I hope you can finally read it and take it at the good way.

Positive:

- Nice presentation on the color, the sprite. I like the animation of Maple and the Candy Corn monster look so cute.

- The sfx is very nice to listen to.

- Control that responds perfectly and fluid.

- Not too bad the intro and it explains very well what's going on. Despite being a little on the trope of the villain who steals the tree for his personal ambitions, it's still a nice intro and the sprites are okay.

--

Minor Glitch :

- Sometime, the projective does not destroy the enemies.

Major Glitch :

- Once I had Game-Over and go a new game, I went back to a corner of the level moving and without the character in the screen with 0 life.

--

Correction and need for the future game (Full Feedback):

- Fix the big major glitch about when you made a new game after you have a game over.

- A button indication to see the touch of confirm and cancel in the menu, or more better, it would be nice to select your choice with the click from the mouse.

- Have an option to correct the control to our satisfaction. Because everyone have his own way to play a game.

- It would be nice to access any controller other than just Xbox, PS and other type. Because it did not detect the d-pad of my USB SNES by test it the first time i play it.

- Made the basic projector be super fast and add a limit of three shoots per screen.

- Put a looping with the music and without it fading away.

- Put some new and original music.

- Made some grammar and spelling correction. Because the word ''Restaurant'' is misspelled.

- Fix the Load Game (I know it's a demo, but it would be nice to have infinite continue, or even, you make a selection appear after having had a Game-Over like, Continue ? : Yes or No then it ask if you want to save.)

- Made three saves slots for the game

- Put a menu on while you play the game.

- Expand and polish a little more certains parts of the map and adds more variety of enemies to be against the character and his main element. (Like immune with one power-up ect...)

- Balance with the check-point.

- Add more collectives stuffs for push the explorations deeper and more enjoyables.

- Need to test and polish some location of the first and second act of the first world.

- Add more shade and depth to the sprites, because he's a little bit of a bland along with the background, and it's missing something to make it look more rich and more polish.

- Same with the background. It need some more depth and shading.

- Maybe you change the name of the second world. Because I think it's a little too cliché for the name. Why not give the name of the cave in relation to its color and the theme of the game itself? Or else you made some creepy enemies for this zone to fit the spooky side. That would be a very interesting thing to do.

I hope the Feedback will help you and keep the good work.

Your Buddy

Thank you very much for the feedback Midoseito Akage! I did some revisions to this project and will definitely be the last update to this demo (unless another glitch is found, I'll have to fix that).

I do have plans to expand with the game now that the main components are mostly functional. I plan to revise certain features and a better way to organize code.

I'm pretty happy that I got this one out, but for now I'll leave this as a milestone. I got a bigger, better game to focus on and my next project will be more of a refined version of this... only more better? :P

Anyhoo, thank you for the constructive criticism and helpful advice! :)
